The SCILD study is based at the University Children’s Hospital of Bern. The project is led by Prof. Dr. Philipp Latzin and Dr. Carmen Casaulta, who lead a team of PhD students, scientific researchers, and experienced study nurses working for the SCILD study. You will find photos of the team on the website for the children’s clinic of the University of Bern’s, under paediatric pneumonology, and research group.    

By train: Leave the station building through the main entrance "Bahnhofplatz" and take Bus 12 (Holligen). The bus stop can be found at platform D in front of the Heiliggeistkirche. Bus stop Inselspital.

From the A1 motorway: Exit "Forsthaus", then follow signposts "Inselspital" and "Insel-Parking". Paid parking is available in the “Insel-Parking“ garage. There are no long-term parking spots available directly on or around hospital premises. Day passes for public parking are available from the automated machines at bus stops.

Travel expenses incurred as a consequence of your participation in the study will be reimbursed as follows: the cost of your train ticket, or 0.60rappen/km along with parking fees.
